Absolute Validation has established itself as one of the leading suppliers of GCF Field Trials Certification, Engineering Resources and Test Services in the UK.
The Directors at AV have many years of Project Management experience from careers spent at Nokia, formerly the world's number one mobile phone manufacturer, where their experience in test planning, execution and certification delivered over 150 million devices into the hands of consumers across the world.
After Nokia left the UK in 2012, they decided to make their acquired knowledge and quality-driven approach available to a wider audience by founding Absolute Validation.
AV has proven its ability to manage Service Contracts and Long Term Testing Projects, with experience of running test campaigns in more than 30 countries over the last decade. We understand the importance of being at the forefront of technologies including NSA and SA 5G, MIMO and CA, IoT, LTE, VoLTE, VoWiFi, GSM and UMTS across operating systems such as Windows Phone, Sailfish, Android and iOS.
In addition to cellular telecoms, we also work in the growing fields of Automotive and Traffic Management, Telemedicine, UI and UX, and Applications.

Absolute Validation is a UKAS 17025 accredited company, and UKAS is the National Accreditation Body for the United Kingdom. UKAS accreditation provides an assurance of competence, impartiality, and integrity of conformity to our customers.

Absolute Validation has demonstrated to the GCF that it has the necessary competence to help manufacturers identify the Conformance, Field Test and Interoperability tests required for GCF Certification.
Leadership
Co-founder & Operations Director
Tim started his career in the Aerospace sector, has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and is a qualified Project Manager. He moved into the Mobile Telecoms Industry in 1995, switching to Mobile Networks and Infrastructure projects, and then Mobile Smartphone Project and Test Management from 2004.
Co-founder & Technical Director
Duncan has been in the mobile telecommunications industry since its infancy in the 1980s, gaining extensive experience of mobile development with leading mobile and infrastructure manufacturers.
In his spare time Duncan is a keen marathon runner and has completed full and half marathons across Europe.
Co-founder & Engineering Director
Chris moved from Electronics into Telecommunications in 1996, joining Nokia Networks and Mobile Phone R&D at the start of the mobile phone revolution. His project management roles covered iconic Nokia handsets including the 3210, 6210, 7110, 8210, 9000 Communicator, N70 and Nseries devices.
Chris is a keen golfer.

ISTQB CTAL qualified with over 20 years of Test Lead, Co-ordination, Project Management and Technical Account Management roles.
Specialising in Device Software Testing, On-device Application Testing, Project Management and Test Team co-ordination for OEM and Network Operators in the Mobile Communications and Financial Industries.
Technical Project Manager
Femi is a knowledgeable and successful Technical Project Manager with extensive network and mobile device experience across 5G NSA and SA, VoIP, VoLTE, VoWiFi projects, and management of test teams.
